Canoa Aventura (Or, you know canoe adventures for those of us who don’t speak Spanish) was the company who took us on the river floating safari trip on our first full day in Costa Rica. So let me start on a positive note about today, the actual Canoe tour itself was amazing, and a bonus was that we all came back alive. We saw,
- Howler Monkeys
- Alligators
- Toucans
- King Fishers
- Baby Bats
- Iguanas
- Vultures
- Sparrows
Our tour guide who showed us all of these animals was Steven. We got to paddle the raft and every time I pushed the paddle back, I saw a small whirl pool.
But at times it did get a little boring, constantly seeing the same thing. I think the tour should only be an hour or so long. Reason being, by the time an hour passed, we had already seen all the animals that we would see for the rest of the trip.
