The Tetons provide a great complement to a visit to its big brother to the north, Yellowstone National Park. It is a much smaller park overall, but the imposing sight of the towering Tetons rising straight up with Jenny Lake in the foreground is the type of scenery that’s not typically as easily accessible as it is. Try to stay in one of the lakeside cottages if you can. A classic spot for a spectacular sunrise shot is Oxbow Bend. The few minutes drive tp get there in dark is well worth it. The S-curve of the snake river leading to the Tetons with the sun hitting the peaks is one of those perfect photos everyone wants to get.

It was well worth it to get up early and go to Oxbow Bend, one of the great spots to catch a sunrise in Grand Teton National Park. The first light as it fell on the Teton range was simply magical.
